I have been in contact with many ladies over the years, in the last few years none were users. This is an observation not scientific fact. I get the feeling that these ladies were already dabbling in drugs and this led to them being enslaved by pimps and drug dealers. None of the ladies I was in contact with were ever approached by Nigerians or even in contact with any. So I lean towards thinking that plenty were already using, maybe just recreationally, before they became enslaved and entrapped. The dealers just got them MORE dependent, much quicker and facilitated the downward spiral. As I say my opinion is based on my experience with ladies who did not indulge in drugs AT ALL.

She'll just run back to her pimp/drug dealer. She's most likely an addict, that is the hold pimps have over these ladies.

I have also heard such a story from a WG about how her friends "sold" her to Nigerians, but one "rescued" her. And a few day later she told me her rescuer now owned her. Seeing her drug use frequency though, I think it matches a previous comment that they "enslave" themselves for the supply of drugs.
