Skywalker, it is those unplanned parties that usually turns out best.
Kameshang, never mind the superhero, I just drank myself pretty. But with lots of confidence? Or just stupid ?
But I have to retract one of my strikes. In fact Strike 3. Apparently, and I have this on very good authority, actually from the proverbial horse's mouth, that there was some interaction of a personal nature, more like in the school days when necking and kissing was the ultimate achievement. But I believe a very good foundation for further interaction was laid. Just cannot remember it so well ???
Watch this space....

Peter, I recall tbat a few years ago that I was in a similar situation to you. I did some *really* crazy things -- and I am talking about life on the line kind of stuff (and for a good cause). Back then my life was not worth much, so it did not bother me and I continued for over 8 years. Let me put it this way -- there are few things as dangerous as a man with nothing to lose.
These days, I have changed somewhat. I have since discovered things that make life worth living. So I calmed down a bit. But life's a wheel. No sooner had I started to enjoy and become comfortable with life, when things that had began to get close to my heart were ripped away again. So, I am currently contemplating my next move.
In a way I hope that we never meet -- I can only imagine that it could result in a pretty explosive ending.
Dance like no one's watching, Boet.

James
Life has the ability to throw curve balls at us, usually when you think that things settle down, and that some kind of equilibrium has been reached.
But then you handle it, make your choices, remember that you are older and wiser, and then the sun comes up and the sun goes down, and it is another day.
Contemplate your next move carefully, time is always of the essence. It can be ripped away suddenly. Ask me.
Meeting ? Well, that is for life to decide. I am shortly departing Sin City for a good rest and recuperation, and also contemplating some changes. My time will be spent pondering decisions looking out over the incoming waves, or the flames in the braaivleis fire, or maybe the bottom of the bottle. Life is forever changing, one has to accept that. But change itself is to be embraced.
Cheers

Yet another humble apology :
I am now becoming very good at putting my foot in my mouth.
Strike 6 :
"I am not counting the half glass I had at Gittas place that the wine was so bad you had to put lemonade in it ?????"
Words written by yours truly whilst writing the manual to all and sundry about how not to chat up girls.
The wine was offered in the spirit of friendship, and it was in fact wine spritzer. What I was drinking is really irrelevant as my total lack of manners just jumped to the fore by insulting the quality of the wine. It is really seldom that you walk into a venue where you are welcomed into the venue as a friend and not just as a client. Trust me to fuck that up.
The lasting thought of the evening was in fact the pleasant chat that was had with the really lovely and hospitable Gitta, Lindsey and Brandy. And also my utter shame at breaking the chair that my obese and overweight posture demolished in a instant. Hard to live that one down.
So kindly forgive the cruel words regarding the wine. It was in bad taste. It was given in the spirit of friendship and also accepted as such.
I shall flog myself seven times tonight as part punishment. The rest of my punishment I shall leave to the wonderful and beautiful ladies to decide.

Peter, I had a (proper) girlfriend at Sun City many years ago, a tempestuous relationship, but without a doubt the most amazing sex ever -- to date, no-one that I have ever been with could match her. While she was working at her shift job, I spent many a day and night at the staff pub and the staff pool, where I had some interesting encounters. Also worthy of note is the walk through the gardens in the evening -- especially the area where they used to have a hot tub. The (adult) movie theatre also provided some interesting cuckold experiences late at night.
Sun City is very plastic and fake, but while you are there, enjoy it!

PeterBucks, I am sorry to say I missed your initial reply. But this thread made me smile. All I can say:
BeterBucks is a Legend!
I agree with the "Life is a Wheel" notion, personally I am also in a more sedate phase of my life. Cannot wait for my wheel to turn "crazy" again :)
About Gita: She is just wonderful. When I met her she was actually engaged.... Later, after she broke it off, she told me it was "never gonna work out, as her work now is so much fun"...
What a brilliant attitude for a MG!!!

Hi Rogue
I like the Life is a Wheel concept. Can't party all the time. But still striving to spend each day productively.
And I am really no legend. Just had a great time, dropped the shackles and enjoyed what life has to offer.
Till the wheel turns again
