So sitting over a cup of coffee earlier this morning in a busy mall and marvelling at the human psychy.

By the way.......not that it was this morning.
But.
Calighula.....thank u for a wonderful unexpected social meeting, an invitation to meet and just be without any " service provider / client" expectations.
It was a pleasure meeting the gentleman behind the name. Relaxed. Friendly. And entertaining.

As to the young lady who has managed to cause such an uproar.
I in no way judge nor condone her decision, but applaud her for analysing the market and adapting accordingly.
She is a service provider after all.
I do believe it is a brave move in her case understanding the little of her background.
To have the courage to put it out there so openly for there are many who will disagree and be brazenly distasteful in expressing their opinion.
While others will take it in their stride for what it is and nothing more.

Thank goodness we are not all cut of the same cloth. What our boundaries may or may not be is a personal choice and our own cross to bear or not.

Longjon...your point of "six degrees of seperation" just reminds us of how close a family we all are on ESA! I smile at how silly we are and u have hit the nail on the head in that respect.

10Four and OldStallion, u sound like men who understand the economics of things. Common sense dictates here.
I do hope I shall have the opportunity of meeting u both.
I am a practically boring person when it comes to strategy and marketing.

And then the distasteful part....
Politics.
How nauseatingly sickening that there seems to be no maturity of thought and the same card is played over and over.......

Breathe.

Be.

And......

Let be.

Stay well Rossia and blessed be your business . You know your choices and they are yours.

Xxx

10four: This is a punting website. Rossia is an advertiser. Other than to make more money, why would she write anything on this forum?

To you multi racial sex is not a big deal (which shows that you are not racist, well done, and perhaps a little naive to SA history) but for many, including me, it is a big step. To state that Rossia welcomes all races in an open forum is important to de-stygmatise multi racial sex. to make one post that makes her more money and has a strong moral point simultaneously deserves respect.

Naive to what history, apartheid, group areas, racial profiling etc etc etc...that is so 1980's johnd and seriously quite a bit of the world out there doesn't give a toss about race, its just this country with people who have chips on their shoulders from the past. Even the rest of Africa looks at us and wonders what the hell is wrong with these South Africans.

I agree that she saw an opening and used it as a business oppurtunity but i wll stick to my guns and say that this was no hallelujah moment...

*smashing popcorn in mouth*

At the end of the day, all Rossia did was a PR Stunt to get more business. If times are so hard that you must seemingly break your own rules for bucks... Cool, who cares.

We will only truly triumph as a nation when we stop grouping people by colour. We're all South Africans here, drop the colour label. As long as skin colour is highlighted anywhere, in politics, sport, business, etc we WILL NEVER move on from the past and we WILL continue to have this race bullshit in our country, until we're fucked like Zim.

Drop the colour badge already, black white whatever if you're attracted to that PERSON, not a colour, cool if not, move along please.

Longjon, by your favour:

I applaud the sentiment, but I scorn the self righteous hubris with which you express it.

This thread was never about Rossia and whoever made it about her is missing the point entirely. Go take her on about her reason for seeing black clients on the thread she started. The point of this thread is different. It's about any girl being attacked for the choice of punters that she sees on the basis of the race of the punters by racist people.

"This is for all the racist bigots who take on girls like Rossia (and others that were attacked in the past) for being open about their choice of seeing punters of other races, more so when they are open about seeing black clients. ".....

Beg to differ Longjon. You made direct reference to the young lady and used her as an example, and, directly after the thread she posted.

I don't think anybody wants to take her on as to her choice, but merely stating the fact that it is NOT a "hallelujah" moment for many.
A simple business choice made for whatever reason that is nobody's business but her own.

Politics really has no place here.

I think she is very very aware of what she is letting herself into as she does not come across as a pushover. Read her reviews....

a blessed restful day to all!
