Having just recently pulled myself out of ALOT of debt... I went and got an etag when i moved up here.

3 months later I still have credit on the R200 I put on it. Plus going through the tollgate with a peep while all you non registered suckers (??) wait is a huge bonus... It's awesome moving over for a car traveling way faster than you and then having him come up again 15 mins later after the tollgate.

I'm still very much against e-tolls and don't particularly agree with it or how they did it. But I'm even more against being in any sort of debt again.

Undercoverpta nice one wonder if I can get fucksanral2. Anyone needs cutting torches and gas to cut e-toll boards down let me know i'lle gladly supply them free as long as they cut a few down. By the way if u guessed i'm not paying e-tolls for myself and people in the company we all not paying e-tolls u got that right our bill currently stands at 150 k plus and counting and I can tell u guys and ladies I counted 250 people in our industrial area who haven't on an individual and company basis paid it. I'm starting a new slogan similar to Julius "pay back the money line" mine will be "don't pay back the money" I hope most won't.

What were these guys thinking when they decided to put this stupid e-Tolls system in place!!??

They put the cart before the horse.

They should have spent the money on putting in place a viable public transport system.
Then, only then, implement e-tolls.

There are a number of reasons to boycott e-tolls. For me the biggest reason is that our govenerment is simply running out of money. At the rate that they increase the pay of the civil service employees there simply will not be enough money in a few years. That is why they are trying to raise extra money (taxes) in creative new ways. We need to send a message to the government that they don't need more money, they just need to spend money more wisely. By resisting on this issue the government will be reluctant to raise new "taxes"

How did they build the entire ring road without raising tolls but to resurface and paint the ring road they now need tolls?

Guys also see carte blance a few weeks ago about duplication of plates with same registration numbers it was suprising to see how many people even companies had problem. Totally agree john maybe its not a bad thing cos what we need is a lot of medium sized companies and many different unions and a few full time mediators to allow as little striking time as possible. Its already happening. Amco and numsa are gud examples all we need is seperate unions and everyone negotiating different rates on wages.
