I'm not bothered either way.
Before or after is fine.
I've been short paid and not paid only a handful of times in my entire career.
It's easy enough to block offending gents.
Their loss.

I always pay up front, I just feel get it over with and then its done and you can get on with the rest of session with no awkwardness at the end

Here's a question to the punter. Put yourself in my shoes - if you were a wg , what would you prefer?
How would you relax and live yourself into each session not knowing if you will be paid in full or at all at the end? And what would you do if a client doesn't have the money at all or not the right amount?

Its a catch 22 situation, but I do support you in this, pay upfront. "Touch wood" I never had a "bad" punt, after paying upfront.

I always get the commercials done up front. Put the requested funds down and then we party

Paying upfront is always the best for me after I once forgot my wallet in my vehicle. Lucky that it was in a complex and she walked with me to my car. At the end it worked out fine for both of us.

I will usually follow the ladies lead. If she asks for it upfront, I have no issues with that. I have no hard rule or stance on it, but from experience it generally happens after.
