Watching sunrise has become a habit with me.

First of all, at my ripe ole age, I am happy just to wake up and realise I am still in the same shithole that I went to bed to.

For at my age one is not sure whether you will wake up or not.

Which causes a little dilemma, because if you don't wake up, then there are some interesting convos on my phone......

And waking up alone is just so so wrong on so many levels.

One needs to share the sunrise with a special person. That is why sunrise is so special. A new day, a new dawn, life should be so good.

Yes...... I agree with you.... one should have that special someone to wake up to and see a sunrise with....but that special someone can come in a form of a friend, lover or a soulmate. You just have to be open about it... I had a friend that I could open up to, complain to, and just be myself with...... we would chat for hours on end and then sleep in the same bed, never having sex but just lie in each other's arms, enjoying the closeness. You only realize how special that is when that person is not there anymore.... but I have the memories to hold on to, the memories that bring a gentle smile to my lips just thinking about it....

Why look at your age? Age is just a number..... I've known people that never got to a ripe old age, but that past on just as their lives were suppose to fully begin.... we all need to wake up and enjoy every day...... every sunset.... every sunrise, because no matter what age you are.... tomorrow is never promised. Get up, go out, take chances, meet that special friend, lover or soulmate.... but most importantly... take life with both hands and just run with it!
And live life without regrets.... what does it matter what they read on your phone he he at least even when you are not around anymore you will have them talking!

I do understand loneliness, and feelings of emptiness..... I know about watching sunsets alone, but I look around me and see friends and people that I care about(and no... not just the people in my "real life, but amazing people that I've met in the purple world that have become some of my closest friends) and you know what...... life is Good!

The purple world might be fantasy to some, but it's still a world filled with people with true and honest emotions and feelings... people that will even if they've never met.... have sympathy.... give advice (sometimes good and sometimes bad lol), people that can read between the lines and people you can just have a good laugh with..... real people in a fantasy world...

So when you are quiet again.... watching the sunrise... remember that even though it might not always feel like it.... you've got real people around you....
