As a guy at times one could be with the Mrs or some other such engagement that may not permit calling or one could be traveling outside the country so I would not paint all pm bookings with the same brush - my 2 cents

I would never let a client drive for nothing or stand him up.

If anything happens and I can't make a booking I call or compromise offering a another lady and I would even pay her. Thank God it never happened

Every booking should be confirmed by a phone call. You never know who is on the other side of a pm, email or whatsapp. If they cant make a call to confirm a booking, they don't deserve to see you.
