In 2007 I paid R750 at a venue in Benoni, not a place I would touch now with another guys dick. At HOE you can get a miles better experience at 60 min R1600 or less

In 2006 I paid R300/h
In 2021 you get 3 for R1k for 30min

Desperate times...I think our ladies all deserve more than they ask. Pitty we also deserve a better disposable income otherwise we could have paid them much better. Not that it would have taken the supply and demand tension away. It could have been the same argument around different figures.

A contributing factor is that unfortunately some venue owners are not realistic. I know of some draconian expectations for the same as others pay for a way way more flexible context. As with everything there are stunning venue owners and some more greedy, yet I do think some can do with a bit of benchmarking and a more realistic ear for the realities of the ladies

Prices haven't changed for me since I started in 2019. I pay on average R450/hh and R600/h mostly in Ferndale and Midrand.

This industry needs regulation. We are under paying. And no increase in so long must suck. Especially since we know for sure rent and petrol are going up.

40 years ago, a street walker wanted R10 for a BJ and R20 to bounce on your pole on the back seat of your car. Massage and Escorts around R50. Take the fact that the value of your money halves every 7 years that would equate to R3500 to R4000 a punt today.

Jigsaw - that calculation of the cost of money halving every five years only comes into effect if the inflation rate is 15%. Our inflation rate has not been in that region for a number of years, so unfortunately your assumption is not correct

Yes and that is the correct rate.

I see two gents per week and my rates R3000.
I am in the north overheads to take into consideration. Area and security. That alone R15 000

I like to stay exclusive by seeing 1 gents.
I have another profession that I work from home, so seeing 2 gents works out perfectly allowing me to build on my design business.

Punting in SA is exceptionally good value comparatively speaking as long as you have access to the beloved green back.

Landy, agree with you if you use the official CPI which would make it around R1400 to R1500 after 40 years. There are many factors to consider. Another way to look at it, and it will vary for each individual, how much was a punt of gross salary earned back then vs now. Around 5% in 1980? Either way you look at it, circumstances have changed and vary. The reality is that the ladies are working in a tough environment at the moment and do what they can to survive.

Today most service providers generally charge between R300 - R600 for services.

When you started punting, what were the general going rates for services?

Yip I see some blow and go services advertised at that price,
