I totally understand when a client has to cancel at the last minute.... And for the very first time last night....I had to cancel with a client that I was going to meet for the first time....
I was literally on the phone with him the whole day...
And just before I was about to leave.... something happened at home, and I had to cancel, and I know that I disappointed this particular client, it hurts to disappoint someone... Weather it's a client or just someone we know, I do hope that I can make amends....if not, so be it.... Respect and understanding comes from two sides.... So hopefully I'll be forgiven

True, Though through my experience I have had SP's cancel on me because they might have been too drunk, booked a more important client than me even though I confirm with them well in advance. Everyone is human and sometimes circumstances can be out of our control.

A good strategy that I use is that. After 3 strikes I would put them on an ignore list under time wasters and unprofessional providers. By the third time, I would lose interest and never contact her again. Same applies for SP's that dont respond to your query for rates and services.

Yet you will find that these would be the same ones that when they are strapped for cash, they always have something sad that happened to them and they need your help

The anticipation before the time does make up a lot of the fun. Unfortunately, just as it's a multiplier for the good, it's also a power factor for disappointment.

Depends on circumstance. Would it be better if so or punter leaves u hanging not answering calls,messages. Have experienced both and rather be notified about situation than be left hanging. Being left hanging leaves an ugly taste and animousty when booking is made. Thankfully so far as punter I haven't done the hanging thing though I've had to cancel and luckily also sofar it's been a bit in advance and I've always called and messages and apologized and explained myself.

Sorry no excuse for a wg not honouring her appointment simply because she was to drunk or high to do a booking. Especially if the booking was made in advance and confirmed. (Some clients do this then still dont pitch) and even if the booking was not made in advance still no excuse the lady could have said i am not available at the moment.
