The notion of a Caucasoid "race" comes from a bullshit discredited 19th century racial theory. The only place that still uses the term is the USA and its meaning has changed to "white".
Originally the term included people from North Africa, the Middle East and beyond ....
No idea why we have imported and use such a stupid term. If you don't have the polite ability to say "white" then talk about melanin deficiency ....
