Arhwen, there are service providers on ESA that would take that R1500 for an overnight booking. Not because they are streetwalkers or based in Hillbrow. The economy is in the gutters and some ladies go on for days without a booking. That R1500 goes a long way for some.

Also, point of correction - most don't charge R1500 per hour.

All the ladies I know charge 1500 and up per hour maybe one or two charge a grand per hour but not for the whole night.

Though I must admit on Friday another lady that she booked into a apartment where there was a lady who did a all night for a grand we were gobsmacked ... She dressed up put on make up etc... my foundation alone is close to 500 and some of my shoes are close to a grand and up. All I said was I hope the guy who books her at least pays for her travel separately and tips her because how the fuck does he Expect her to live?

Further more this brings me to the question if that is the ladies allnight rate what is her hourly rate? Then we speak about economy!!! Do they guys offering this and who condone if even give two fucks of how she must live or feed her family if she has one. Though the answer is probably not.

I do fully understand that we all struggle economically. And we all want to have better quality of life. And that R1500/night is maybe on the low side.

But you are aware that there are thousands of PAs, clerks etc that earn less than R10k per month. They also need to dress up for work, drive to work and back every day. Rent a place to sleep. Eat etc.
Just financially speaking (ignoring maybe the difficulty of the work environment), i somehow think that earning R1500/night is actually not that bad.
