Wow, Mia... what a great attitude... I really wish you all the success.
Sometimes it appears that this is the only service industry where the customer is always wrong... and now you have shown me that everyone is not the same; and if the customer offers polite and constructive criticism, it can be appreciated and accepted as an opportunity to improve the service.
There is a lesson in there for us as well, I guess. It is very rare that a punt is all bad... and if we can acknowledge the good and the things that went well, even as we indicate what was not so great... in a polite and constructive way, as @doughboy did, maybe... just maybe, the lady will not have the typical knee jerk defensive (sometimes it appears to be a counter-strike) reaction we have come to expect.
