About getting lost

I went one day to visit a lady who I used to visit often and had moved to a new venue and was now in Vereeniging

So armed with my Garmin and the street number and name I turn up at the house. A major dog appears and seems as if his favourite food is people. He stands there going nuts and out comes this house wife and I know it is the incorrect address due to the attire and looks of this house wife

I confirm with the house wife I am at the correct address and she says yes. I apologise get back in the car and call the lady I wanted to visit. She confirms the address I am currently at. I say I am outside talking to a house wife. the lady says she is looking out the window and cannot see me at all.

After a long time we discovered the lady was in van der Byjl Park and not in Vereeniging

Getting lost is easy even with the fancy gadgets

Ah, coming to that. I have received such ridiculous directions in my time that on occasions it has taken me hours, tons of fuel and a fat telephone bill, nevermind the swearing and frustration, to finally find the address, which could have had, in most cases, a faaaar simpler explanation. (Phew, that was a long sentence)....
