In the old days punting was great. You didn't have to worry about anything. I punted at many places and never had any hassles.
The 1990s, early 2000s was the best era for punting.
After about 2005 you had to be careful where you went.

To answer the other question I recieved around the money story. I drew R1200 and mentioned to the first girl I wanted to book a double. Then after viewing the girls I decided on just the one. So they knew I had the money on me. Cash was paid upfront on full for one lady.

When I eventually was given my key back that's when they surrounded me demanding the extra money.

Guess where they found my key... in the garden where I had never been... so I was standing by my car... in the dark watching a girl pick up a key in the garden where I never would have walked.

Thanks to all of the guys n gals who commented. No it was not a nice experience and having somebody literally having the keys to the rest of your life in their hands and watching you sweat is hardly a experience I wish on anybody. The fact somebody can lift your car key and demand money from you in return for your "freedom"... Words are not enough.

And apparently guys I was on drugs.... I was told I am high and I wanted drugs from them. This is from a guy who the worst drug he has ever taken in his life is a few giggly twigs that I could count on one hand.

If voicing my experience helps even just one other punter not to be robbed or worse... then I have achieved my goal. I will not be supporting private houses any longer unless they are actual established venues that advertise on ESA in the venue section and have good reviewes.

Times are changing and therefor so is safety precautions.

What I will say is this... if you going up North Rand Road and pass Presleys on your rite... then carry on for about a km, turn rite and get to a boom gate.... you gone to far. But don't worry... the gaurd at the gate will ask you for money because he knows what number you will be going to... I am not allowed to post the street name or number again as per the rules. Sorry bud.

I met so many wonderful guys there... we had great times there..

Courtney now married and out of the industry... we use to rock boksburg...

Funny how such a once great place would turn out like this...
