Good afternoon Durban.
I did my fair share of spoiling this morning, then off to receive a message for the soul and then a lunch hearty!
During lunch, I sat and watched and absorbed and enjoyed the varied relationships playing out without those being watched be any the wiser how much is exposed for the public at large.
A happy face cannot be hidden.
A disinterested one neither.
Certain character traits and idiosyncrasies are just impossible to hide.
But...overall, it is wonderful to experience the communal feeling I always enjoy in Durban.
You guys rock!
I love community, I love family...even with all the challenges that come with it.
And when I left I looked a young girl straight in the eyes....she looked so disinterested, so disconnected, so aloof from everybody else at the huuuuge noisy table...and smiled at her.
She DID smile back...ever so slightly and for a second, her eyes came alive.
I turned back to look at her, she was still looking at me, I waved and she waved back.
I do hope she continued to smile.
And thus on this fine Sunday to continue with the spoils and embracing those that need a hug , a moment of acknowledgement for, some need it more than others and may feel taken foregranted or forgotten.
Kiss u all most closely and look forward to spoiling you most royal.
Your.
