Ive never visited Angie but long admired her - very attractive, engaging forum manner and great reviews.
Yes it was wrong of the OP to request bareback - but i seem to think that Angie is not exactly a 'budget punt', so keeping his entire money for zero service provided is a tad unfair.
I agree that a cancellation fee should be retained and the balance refunded.
But Angie is a big girl, and can make her own decision therein.
What surprises me though, is that she is willing to spend this money, on alcohol for those who sided with her.
The very same Angie who recently posted that she had no food to eat, no money to pick up her medication, and couldnt pay rent as she didn't have a rand to her name.
She was robbed by a client who didnt pay after "services rendered" (im guessing that it didnt feel nice to be robbed)
So keep the money if you must - but use it wisely. Dont rub it in the posters face, that youre gonna get sloshed with it.
Should you find yourself in a fix again, people will be hesitant to assist.

1,2,and 3. I know what he did, I've read the thread. And my first post (and subsequent posts) have said he is a doos. But him being a doos and having done shitty things still doesn't give you a right to his money. You are not a teacher on the playground or a judge in a courtroom with the legitimate authority to hand out punishments for shitty behaviour.

Whether you hand it out to randoms or stick it in your pocket, he is still the victim of theft. What you do with it after you've taken it from him is irrelevant. You could donate it to an orphanage and it would still be theft. This is a fairly shameless attempt to garner support by sharing the proceeds of theft.
As far as deterring him from doing it again -- highly unlikely. At best, he'll have learnt to not pay upfront. But the dude gives off serious stalker vibes. You're delusional if you think a loss of a few hundred bucks is going to put a stop to that. But sure, you tell yourself whatever you need to, in order to justify stealing from him, but don't expect the rest of us to buy your bad-faith arguments.

Corruption at if's finest. I do think its fair to take a portion for herself for the cancellation but the rest is stealing. No excuses, no justification.
Look she aint going to pay it back, however she damaged her name and punters wont easily trust her.
it is possible she might be funding a bad habit of alcoholism, or maybe not too. I have no idea who's attending but if you were to look within that circle of attendance ...probably type of people that showers and brushes their teeth with alcohol. Alcoholism is a disease just like stealing. Get help before its too late.
