I love my hometown and ever blessed it is where my home is but, when work calls, we give praise and thanks and look fwd to good things happening.

And thus my hometown...I do hope to be spoilt like crazy bfr my upcoming travels take me away from home.

Today was another one of those days where something said knew to leave a wry smile on ones face.


Statement made.

"I know what it is like being an entrepreneur. Every morning to wake up unemployed"....and he, as per usual left a VERY generous tip.

I wonder how many will understand and appreciate the statement he made. I LOVED it and I know I am blessed to have such an awesome regular knock on my door so frequently.

Entrepreneurs we are in this awesome space of mind and bodily pleasures and thank you to ALL the gentlemen who understand that and understand the value of a service shared most intimate.

There are events and occasions that should be treated with a little bit of extra effort where t-shirts and jeans should be put away.
Occasions where one looks at ladies gorgeous in their finery and gentlemen dapper.

Such as a graduation....the honoring of achievement to name one, and then...

Attending theatre.

Nothing pretentious or contrite, just a given where respect toward the artist snd their hard work is expressed in a way I enjoy tremendously and, was brought up with.

Classical it was, as was my chaperone.
To be able to relax, enjoy and surrender to the orchestra, a conductor passionate, was easy....simply because my chaperone "lived" it just as much as I did.

I felt like a princess, was treated like one and he?...a true Gentleman he was.

And thus as I said....the criteria was " Do you enjoy classical music?"

Last night was all about an attendance at the theatre, excellent company and tasty food.

It was a quiet weekend workwise but, otherwise full of exuberance, celebration, arrival of Spring and sport, sport, sport!

When the roads are full of cars, the shops of people, I always hope that is a sign of a recovering economy, especially in SA.
But, Going out with R1000 in ones pocket to do grocery shopping for the month is ludicrous in these times yet, was quite a thing not too long ago.

A celebration on Saturday, a baby shower attended and trying to some up in my head just the price of nappies till baby gets potty trained, made me shiver.
Shoo.
Parenting in today's day and age a very different calling to when I had my little ones.

Then the Boks win on Saturday....seems to be their style, coming up from the back, the pressure spurring the team to unite and play as one stronger, resilient...champions!
Our home was crazy loud, swinging from anger to scream of ecstasy....it was awesome!

And then Sunday...as always....grace given and forgiveness asked and the first day of Spring celebrated with a concert of little ones leading us into the day with their little voices of praise.

Yep.

It was an awesome fullstop to a busy week.

And now hopefully for another good week ahead.

Is there a mismatch in all I am and bring into "Russian Bridgitte's" world?
