It always happens, those last one or two days before my departure.

Funny thoughts about all sorts of things.

And today was no different. This thought a recurring one as I looked out at Robben Island tucked away in the fog and the choppy ice cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Imagine 30 years of looking at the ever changing skyline of Cape Town. From a very clear and stark view of Table mountain and Devils peak to the ever spreading of urbanization...I wonder how that felt.

I turned and then looked toward table mountain.

I would imagine it always looked the same and would for decades to come. As to the urbanization...well, mankind is fickle, gluttonous and greedy , breeding like a viscious pandemic...it could only become more invasive and intrusive annihilating the skyline of nature itself.

Sigggghhhh....

And for whatever reason these deep thoughts bring out a different sort of "RB" in my sessions.

I wonder if my darling Gents notice that, especially the repeat visitors.

I do know that today I spoke more, asked more and sat at the edge of the bath and got lost in what "he" was saying about human nature and then he bent fwd kissed me softly on my lips and said "penny for your thoughts?"

"I need you." I answered him and I meant it in the most sincerest of ways.

I needed to absorb him , all of him and, he me.

Tonight I pack my bags as my departure home is an early one in the morning.

Tonight, again I know how blessed, spoilt and privileged I am to once again experience all that Cape town always offers.
