When the burning stops take a few moments to reflect that if that stuff gets up into your urethra from just that - what about what gets up there during say 10 mins of OWO?

10 years of regular punting...started off very cautious i.e. everything with condom but in the last 4 years or so mostly OWO and protected sex. Was diagnosed with herpes type 2 about 9 months ago...no picnic.

Herpes is a virus and therefore incurable. The frequency of outbreaks varies from person to person but you will always be contagious...For the rest of your life. The scary thing is that more than a third of the population has it...They just don't know. It is also not usually tested for during a standard STD test.

Oh yes. HPV can be spread even with a condom apparently. There's was a guy who visited a college I used to work with.

He worked at Marie stoppes clinic and made her use latex gloves to want him off... It was strange.

But we Googled it after and he was right. HHPV is spread by skin to skin contact. Usually genital skin contact and gives you warts.

Viruses can be cured by eliminating the host which might not be practical with humans!

Reckon rule of thumb ( or dick ) is to stay away from budget punts (excluding the odd special ) and pay a wee bit more for places/ SP's that have been around for a while and have a good reputation.

Funny story....my punting wingman picked up genital warts ( one of the herpes strains ) and had them burnt/lasered (?) off. No idea where he got it from as he was a stickler for protected sex. Obviously couldn't service the wife while he waited for his dick to heal. So he told her he is going on a self imposed sex fast to appreciate her more - he was taking her for granted and abstaining would make him realise how important making love to her was. Worked like a charm.....lucky him.
The good news is that he never had a recurrence of the warts as his doc promised him, and the wife has never had a bout either. We theorised that perhaps she had got a bit on the side somewhere and passed it on to him......and remained tight lipped herself.
He hasn't punted since, and rushes home every day to monitor her arrival home....... :-)

Moral of the story...... before you put your dick in where it shouldn't be, think that perhaps the other half is doing the same....... :-)

Oh.....by the by. I've been punting on and off for around 20 years. Never caught anything in spite of partaking in the occassional owo - very picky who the giver is. I go for 2 full checkups a year, eat more or less healthy, do the mutivits plus a few others, carry my own coodoms. Works for me. (So far) :-)
