In all these cases getting hacked is easily avoidable if you're just slightly knowledgeable about the internet, not nave and keep your software up to date to ensure the latest exploits are patched. It's definitely not as bad as you're making it out to be I feel.

A drive by download is possible but why would someone use a 0 day 0 click exploit on some guy watching porn that stuff is saved for high value targets with sensitive info or extremely high net worth like government officials, big ceos etc.
