The devil is chained during ramadaan. So everyone is on slightly better behaviour during ramadaan, not just muslims :)

Just telling of the times.

That it happens to be Ramadan ...coinciding with the budget speech and possibility of vat increase, the fight to try drop interest rates an uncertainty, price warfare on the go - special after special after special, more service providers.

Keeping a household going is very different to what it used to be and the "pennies" are now spent wisely and more infrequently.

It has been a "blood bath" for a long long time and the signs have been there for years.

The circle is getting smaller and tighter...and tighter.

It's a tough few months for the ladies. The Christmas slow down, Januaworry, Ramadan and school holidays next month.

last stretch... Have to have more respect to them abstaining so many things we take for granted daily

Wow you are so right, I have forgotten that there are black Moslems, I haven't seen a white moslem though, but hey it will be my First time to hear, I guess we learn till we die.

Bosna Hercegovina is mainly Muslim. My mum comes from there,but she is Serbian (making us Serbian Orthodox). Both from my late father's side of family , Russian (making us Russian Orthodox) and my mum's side of family , we have Muslim in laws.

Skin colour in Europe ain't a thing as much as religion is.

And many many "white" Muslims are to be found.

I have met many white South Africans over the years. Some took the faith by choice, others by marriage.

In my family I have two cousins who married white men. One marriage is still going strong after 20 years, and the guy is more Muslim than many of the Muslims I know lol

The other cousin divorced after several years, but surprisingly the guy chose to keep the faith. I still see him Fridays at the mosque from time to time.

Our Muslim brothers are the most prolific punters. Almost all the ladies visited have said that business is seriously down.
