@VF I'm sorry if my message offends you in any way...I just want to share my experience....my previous GP kept pushing prozac at me....I kept refusing....I don't know the full extent of your issue but have done research around SSRI's and have also done introduction to pharmacology for my studies so understand the basics of certain prescription drugs. If I may and please I'm not trying to offend you, suggest reading up on 5htp, this is the precursor for serotonin, our mood neurotransmitter...amongst other things. It has no side effects (except an overdose which causes serotonin syndrome which can be fatal) in one of my texts the author says he's not sure why it's not used more due to its effectiveness and relatively low costs. It must not be used with other SSRI'S. I've found it to be very helpful with my current state of mind. Just a suggestion....I've been told by others who've taken SSRI'S how tough it is to wean oneself off them. 5htp can also assist with sleep. I too struggle at times with insomnia...not as much now on 5htp. I wish you well.

I have a remedy for all insomniacs a massage by yours truly. There is a review on one of my profiles done by a insomniac who slept the whole day and whole night after a treatment with me but I am not sure if will help miss Vee.
