It's all about the quality of the ink. That blue-green dolphin that you have on your chest or lower back that looks like it was drawn by a kindergarten child or someone in prison is a huge turn off. On the other hand quality tattoos can be very sexy.

I had the barbed wire on my upper left arm,that really didn't sit well with me anymore after having it 18 years. It was one of those," ooh thats pretty, let me do it" 18 years on its "wtf was I thinking, it looks like jail bird ink".

Had a girlfriend that used to have a beautiful rose tattoo. Couple of years later I saw her and she gained so much weight and it looked like a cabbage. Lol
