A question for GreyKnight

If you ever decide to cancel, what would your sensible excuse be and how are you going to go about it?

I ask because you now have 2 minds about the service provider and it's a nagging feeling hence you came for advise "I would assume". It will still be your decision to make at the end of the day.

I can respect that. But should she not have stated this upfront when I enquired about her working hours?

Just to ad, her profile states shes available 24/7, which is why I asked her for her working hours in the first place.

I agree with you. Quoting her extra R200 after 5 should be part of her sales pitch

The first encounter, be it over the phone or in person determins how the ( possible ) follow up visits will go.

If your feathers are already ruffled now just by this, wait a while and see if the same or similar issues are mentioned in her reviews.

Hhmmmmm Kimmylee that's a very good question, one to which I don't have an answer as yet my lady.

The booking is a few days away still so I'll sleep on it tonight and decide tomorrow. Some good points made on this thread.

If I cancel it will probably be without giving her a reason as I don't ever negotiate prices with ladies and don't want to get into a situation where she wants to lower her price to secure my business. I HATE that!

And if I tell her I'm concerned about the service things will be already awkward before we've even met, should she convince me to follow through with the booking.

if you eatn more than 250K/y you are judged part of management and overtime can not be expected.

maybe she rips first timers as she knows her service wont secure a return so she has 1 chance to grab

Hope you didn't sound too eager.

Anyway I'd cancel. I think your hunch and everyone else's is correct.

As for an excuse, simple. You thought the initial discussion of services and price was fair. You don't think it's worth another R200 or you only have enough for the initial price you thought you paying. Anyway, you might get some fine, I'll take that. Still cancel because you're not comfortable. Already a bitter taste in your mouth. Look for another.

Thanks guys for your input. Much appreciated.

@ Kimmy

Thank you too. From a punter's perspective it scares us as we immediately think we will get poor service and we will be hustled for every little thing during the booking, just as the guys said on this thread.

So yes it's important for a lady to state these things when a punter asks.

I'm not judging the lady or anything, just wanted to make sure if this is the norm or if I'm being too petty.

Like I said, I don't mind at all paying the extra amount. My biggest concern is the service received on the day.

You're welcome Sir.

I can only say to you that before the initial contact, you had first and foremost your personal interest in being with the SP. You did it all by yourself and no one else.

Now taking that initial course (on a business level) you found out about the unfamiliar territorial rights opposed and it did not sit well with you. It's expected and both parties aren't to blame in this situation. If you don't mind paying the extra cost then it isn't about the money as stated but about the service in the receiving end which is your concern.

So are you going to base this on instinct or are you going to base this on your initial interest towards the service provider?

The answer is right infront of you. You may speak collectively as "we" punters but what about the "you" punter, the GreyKnight punter. Being petty in this business has nothing to do with you wanting to spend time with the SP.

The review system is there to serve as a guide for the audience and you can use that constructively or not. You'll be there with her and no other punter and that should serve the both of you. Surely if you decide to make an appearance, you also have the right to leave before the deed as well. Feeling sorry for someone won't help you to get to enjoy yourself either.

Once the referee blows that whistle, you know it's time to kick the ball.

Always remember, kids, "don't hate the player, hate the game" and "the game is there to be played".

There are different "hustles" is this industry, and like someone has already stated, some secure that additional income by charging extra for certain services. In my view, at the top of the leaderboard are MGs that charge double (sometimes triple) their rate for FH or GFE. Gotta respect their hustle because we (punters) pay those rates because "HAVE YOU SEEN SOME OF THESE MGs?!".

24/7 is normally a red flag to me indicating a high probability the girl is a drug user. Not had a good experience with one

I would cancelled. Not because of the extra R200 just because she only stated it after you give a time slot and her hours say 24/7. As some one else said that was supposed to be said shile she give you the information for a booking.
But I maybe wrong ... maybe you have a great booking.
