100% concur. If you are running a special at least give an indication of what it is, first prize is to put up the rate, second prize state the percentage discount. Other than that just bumping threads to say "here I am book me" (having an advert already tells us that, and there is an "available now" function for that) or alluding to some mistery special is totally useless.

Showing your rates publicly is stupid. The next girl seeing that will just undercut your rate for a lower one. Also not everything posted is a "special" or a "promotion". I personally dont offer specials but I do use the forum to push my services and try gain attention. That's ultimately what it's for- to get your attention.

I do follow this section, and the more info given, the better for me. I also get that people don't want to be too explicit in terms of rates. There are many ads especially if you are in a place like Johannesburg, and using this as a reminder to consider someone is valid way of promotion and definitely influences my choice of where to spend my money.

I agree though, a special without the details that need a call to get the details like rates is the same as calling any other wgs to get the details. Considering that some normal prices are lower than others special prices, might as well call the wg you're interested in and get her rates. The point of specials is to give enough details to make you want to take it where you otherwise would not have.

Saw a WG yesterday (review still coming) and paid R1000 for the session only to find out afterwards that she had a special running where I could've paid R800 or paid R1000 for extras. But ya we read the section but reflex memory goes to General for deals.
