Lets say you are not. 1914 set the tone for the state the world is in today, the victors of WW1 went on to split the world between themselves as though they owned every portion of it.
The Middle East before the British carved it up consisted of Persia, Arabia (not Saudi Arabia) and The ottoman empire. Neither Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Israel and even Saudi Arabia didn't exist before that. All of which are now protagonists in the commotion that plagues the world today. The leaders of these countries were install by your empire. It is also suggested that this is what gave rise to Hitler and the Nazi's.
Yemen existed before WW1, this war that you so poignantly defend. Wear the poppy because men died for rich men who had a plan to sow discord in the world and today a billion Muslims bear the brunt of this fuckery and millions of others have perished in the greed shown by so called 'leaders' over the last 100 years.
I can go about how Europe was carved up as well which resulted in other conflicts.
There were no winners in WW1. There is nothing to celebrate and there is no respect to be shown.
