Good evening

I have noticed people say 'give him a Bells' is there any significance in this or is it just a Saffer saying?

The saying was "give that man a Bells".
Based on fantastic advertising.
Back in the day, when advertising played on the beautiful emotions, elicited, as opposed to being side tracked by sexualized crap that we find currently.

Ahhh, back in the day...

Another legendary add was the use of "Eish"...

Let me add some gravity to this frivolous thread.

The Bells whiskey advert is an example of successful advertising. It is also proof of how powerful the media is.

It is so easy to use TV, the newspapers, etc to brainwash entire nations.
The unthinking herd of humans will believe anything.
Even people who consider themselves 'intelligent' and intellectual' are swayed into believing things that are manifestly false and untrue - but politically correct.

Cremona... hahahaha! That was a good ad.

Though some whiskeys do taste good. I'm more of a brandy and rum lover more than gin and whiskey.

Which kind of reminds of that Mellow-Wood advert back in 2003.....Wuuuu shiiiiii...lmao

Two points, frivolous I beg to differ

Intellectual people in my opinion are the easiest to snow and bamboozle, they are not street smart

Let me stand up for the intellectuals here. We can be street smart as well as being intellectually gifted. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Indeed, the opposite.

I would not call Ben a pseudo-intellectual, we crossed that bridge a while back with Shenanigans. The man makes a lot of sense and I have learned quite a bit from him.

But then again, you have to be open to learn something. Some people are just born stupid, and their worlds are amazingly small.

Pity them

And I have a big dick

And I am lighting the fire now, beer in hand, wine in the cooler, rum on tap.
