Okay I have always wanted to be a famous fashion designer not sure if it was to make my mom's dream come true,as she loved making clothes.I remember the last dress she made for my birthday before her death,it was very beautiful.


But my dream was to become a pilot,even though my class teachers always adviced me to study law.

It was also my dream to be a pilot Miss Barbie.....in particular a fighter pilot, I did get to become an engineer in missile R&D.......i still envy those pilots

I wanted to be an artist or an astronomer... pretty much everyone around me discouraged me on both accounts... I'm now in marketing...

Lol well now that would certainly be an interesting session ;)

I envy people that is creative.... whether it is designing, art, writing.... it must be an amazing feeling to look at something and know it's your idea, your vision, your hands work and that nobody can take from you.....

Also like Miss Barbie Doll said that maybe her dream was her mom's dream..... and I don't think she is the only one that at some point had a dream but it's because one of our parents never made theirs come true....strange how our parents dreams become ours.... without even realizing it at the time.....
This thread has been really interesting for me.... and yet sad in a way to see how people and circumstances have such a huge impact on us as individuals........
Is it too late? Or are some of our dreams still reachable? Or have we become to set in our ways and the convenience of our little box we have built our lives in..... does excuses like... I'm too old, it's going to be too expensive, just not enough time in a day, or even.... it was only a dream......, still prevent us from pursuing our dreams? Maybe it's time.... life is short as it is..... pursue that dream, make it reality and LIVE It!
