Had the same thing with my ex-wife. Was a bit sore for a couple of days, and then seemed to be recovered (although to be fair I was not using it much). Months later, scar tissue developed - as a result I'm a bit shorter, and have quite a bend - the ladies love it though - apparently my head really gets the g-spot in face to face positions :-)

Serious hamstring injury can put you out of action for 6 to 8 weeks before it is completely heeled.
You will have to use alternative positions where the leg are not required.
