I usually do this when I am going through ladies profiles looking for the lowest rates with more or less the same services.

I once called the same lady twice because she had multiple ads up with different numbers and pictures. lol. Money is tight, that's why I "shop around". We do it when shopping, why not when punting?

I don't mean to offend anybody.

Sorry but my view on this is that the whole point of ESA is to "shop". Why would you call a lady if you have no intention of actually visiting? If the rate is too high, rather be honest and just say "sorry but I can't afford it at the moment". Saying I'll call again gives false hopes.

A man after my own heart :)

I still believe there are guys out there who do this on purpose. "Booking" and not pitching. Get some sort of enjoyment out of it. Ja it is fucktup...but it happens. While those kind of people still walk the face of the earth it will probably continue happening.

You haven't set a time or committed to a booking, so this excludes you. We know what that means anyway....but wouldn't it be better to just say "thanks for your time, enjoy your day"? Better then being dishonest or saying you can't afford it!

Sorry V - just to clarify I didn't mean guys should say they can't afford it, just meant even that is better than making a false promise.

I used to be upfront about my situation with regards to not being able to afford the fees but then the conversations always dragged on because the ladies tried to accommodate me by discounting the price by about R50 and at that time you find that the price is WAAAY over what I have and the R50 discount does nothing.

It ends up with me feeling guilty because she dropped her price for me yet I still can't afford it. Then usually, I run out of airtime to call other ladies and then end up having to use the cash I was going to pay with to buy airtime and there's no lady charging R500 an hour who will take the R489 because of the airtime purchase. lol.

I don't like being made to feel guilty.

And you find that with the initial amount I had, I also wanted to receive a golden shower too. So it would become awkward to ask for an extra when you can't even afford the standard rate. That's why I end calls the way that I do.

White lies.

I could not imagine not showing up for an appointment with the delectable Meg!! It is hard enough just getting hold of her for the appointment. It would have to be something really unavoidable for me not to make it and I would always call to apologize!! Just me!

Good points made there Chasten...dont agree with non pitching, but I have been there and done that, not as a wg though LOL, you either wait or waste your time, and its wasting your time 9 out of 10 times, because if the people cant have the decency to stick to appointments, they never wanted to do business...or on a budget... WTF....I for 1, generally dont make appointments that I cant keep, however if I do and cannot make it, I phone to cancel or postpone, it takes 2 minutes, not too difficult, my 2 cents worth

Yes you did cancel... thanks for that heads up!
Some gentleman has been with us for years and still they take the time to cancel in time so we can make other arrangements.

Then you get regular clients that push the boundaries regarding times... and reschedule 2/3 times... not keeping in mind there's other clients after them.

I feel its convenient or sometimes TO easy to do that... because we know them and always make time for our regulars.
Even if it means being late or need to cancel on our next appointment.
That's also not right.
Perhaps I should learn to say sorry but that's all the time I have for them :-(
I apologize if I stepped on some toes.
