If you can't decide whether you are attracted to someone or not based on their picture, and need additionally to be reassured that they are not from a race you don't want to be with, then you have serious problems. What do you want, to re-introduce the pencil test?

A race indicator will just save time, as sometime you just have to have a specific race - no need to go through 100's of profiles.

This is a "racist" issue only if you want it to be.
As I already said it, the only idea of adding ethnicity in the filters is to reduce more than a thousand profiles to a manageable few dozens.
