The connect i am referring to is something deeper and less tangible than "cost".

But let us go down that road...so much discussion has taken place as to the relation between price/cost and service offered.

Agreed statements and ideas shared...both by punters and service providers.
Some find it distasteful to talk about price. While others have candid ease to state the obvious. It is no secret that there is a value attached to that which is offered.

Can a picture dictate price?
The voice on the other end of the phone and service explained dictate price?

I am sure wallet full and ready for spend, the owner shall not firstly, phone that which is not appealing to the eye and secondly will not book if the voice on the other end does not meet certain criteria as to ones need, fantasy or desire.

Your description of my sterile world was at once fascinating and also stopped me in my tracks to reflect on my sad and miserable life thus far.

We are in total agreement re the cost factor involved, my view is just that if the wallet is empty, the barrier created by that will be so serious that it is more like a bottlenect situation. You have to pass the bottleneck in order to move along.

The initial contact, and the anticipation of a response, the first call, the judging of a person by their nuances and jocularity and the like. The deeper contact would then start from there.

The final decision to book, the shower and the dressing up to create a good impression, the aftershave to combat the mild sweating as the adrenaline starts pumping, as you slip away from work on some trumped up excuse, your phone switched off, you are eagerley looking forward to your tryst.
