I actually replied to johnd but the moderation censorship takes so long my post appears to be completely out of context.

My way works well. Without exception I pay upfront in full and only book one or two hour sessions. Afterwards on my way out I will then tip the lady for services rendered. If I tip R500-00 it was a good experience, if I do not tip I will state that she gets no tip because of crappy service. This equally applies to all whether the lady asked for a tip or not. On return I am always remembered and taken care of.
I also prefer the "club" type setting where I can have a drink and socialize beforehand and in those cases the girls appreciate a decent tip because the "house" takes the lion`s share. I have been fucked more than I have been fucked over.

Komkommer, I know that upfront payment is not the cause of bad service but it is a trend that dodgy WGs always charge upfront. So my point is that a request for upfront payment is a red flag for me, not solid evidence of bad service to come.

I think that it is a little silly for WGs to charge upfront because if I feel the service is really good then I will slip in a little extra at the end. This will never happen if I pay at the start. Most WGs have recourse if I don't pay because my car is invariably parked on their property and there is usually a gate that stops me from leaving until I have paid.

It's is one of the first things taught to ladies new in the business!

It is common practice for all (good or bad) w/g's to take money upfront until she knows and trusts the punter, due to it being common for punters to have suddenly forgotten their wallets at home.

It is also house rules at most venues.

I have noticed that a few ladies are not informed about some of the legalities of this industry.

Taking payment upfront is not a great idea. If its a cop trying to bust you the money will most likely be marked and once you have touched it.. your finger print evidence is there. Taking payment afterwards puts you in a better position as then you can accuse the cop of solicitation. If a client looks suspicious and insists on giving you the money upfront don't touch it. Tell him to put it on the table.

Ladies also please be careful about advertising your rates on a public
forum, if in the event that SARS decided to investigate you regarding tax, you have handed over information that they could use.

This happened to a top porn star/wg years ago. She went on to a TV show and bragged about her income, only to have SARS pitch up a few days later and confiscate her assets and proceed to investigate her.

I never take payment upfront and this does not affect my service. I give my best at all times regardless of whether I may get screwed over by a client. And in all my years its been a handful of clients that will try pull a move. Most of the guys here are gentleman and in the event you feel uncomfortable with a client then you should refuse to see him.

Also follow the ladies forum where there are always warnings about the clients who try their luck.

And to the Punters please be careful giving girls cash upfront on a travel. Do not let her walk out the room to go give it to her driver outside, rather tell her driver to collect it at the door or ask her to leave her cell phone with you while she goes to give it to the driver. I have had so many clients complain about girls running off with the cash.
