If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you..
maybe you should look into your local bowling club if you want a risk free sport, although I have read that old age homes are now cesspools of std's so maybe just bowl, drink a spritzer and go straight home..maybe not as much andrenaline but you will save a load of fucking dosh and make new friends...
