The fact that you refer to this industry as an addiction should already tell you something significant not to mention the amount of money you say you've spent...perhaps you need rehab or to wash your hands of this industry and start doing other activities as it seems that it's gotten to a point of unhealthy for you sexually and mentally!

Having been an addict I can relate to the drugs becoming boring...but one just continues due to the addiction itself and you become part of a mundane hell! One has to make tough choices in order to save themselves from that hell!

I agree with miss Vee.

You are chasing the high.. and every time you need more. There isnt much else to do but to leave the punting world. No break will ever return that excitement. I too am an ex addict.

@mufferkzn, those are some of the best arrangements you're right. How do you keep a woman like that interested in that arrangement? I always get women wanting more.

I sometimes wonder about that being the case but read James' post and I am sure you will relate. Re the money I say I've spent , think about it like this we're 6 months into the year. 3k per week - +-2 visits a week plus the occasional extras like doubles and 2-3 hour or longer appointments and you'll be surprised how it adds up.

We all addicts...but glad to know we not alone...

Gentleman, I can relate and have been punting for well over 20 years myself, In the beginning I used to keep a list and costs then eventually just discarded it as it became scary to quantify the amount of woman I have been with let alone the small fortune I have spent. I AM AN ADDICT..have tried to stop and have hit slumps like this many times...I take a break but I get drawn back soon again..

So now, I accept that I am a Punter and will always be one..But the glaring question is how do I continue spicing things up...I too have the budget..I have the expensive toys and hobbies but the thrill seems to be escaping me..the preparion for the punt has lost its flavour...exactly like how james89 described it..even wearing that contented smile afterwards has lost it's thrill..not that the service from the providers are bad in any way...just that I am not fulfilled as I used to be...

Here's an idea become grateful for all the things u have stop wanting more give to others stop being selfish spend spend of your punting money on the less fortunate bet u will feel a lot better after that

ZAR100,000 at ZAR500 a punt is roughly 200 sessions. Some punts cost more than that, especially given OP likes excitement vs run of the mill. Can you really call having sex 150 to 200 tines over a number of years an addiction?

It's also a function of income. If he's denying himself important things to punt, yes it's a problem. If that's throwaway money, maybe not so much.
