Inlanders/ international tourist/ foreigners the principal is the same. Prices are being driven up by external influences with higher purchasing power and better currencies.

That difference is driven by tourism and the influx of south africans and foreigners and south african and foreign busnisess from all over to cpt.
Capetown is starting to burst out it seams. Demand for rental properties outweighs availability and that drives prices higher.
That cost of rental properties alone will drive the slight difference in rates girls charge here compared to rest of SA.
Yes there are ladies that cater exclusivly to the 'tourist market" that has the spending power due to our sad rand value to dollar, pound or euro and they will generally start of around R2500 a hour and can go as high as R10 000 a hour. And good for them. They market themselves on overseas sites as tourist attractions in SA and capitalize on that.
The fees of the rest will generally just reflect the difference in the cost of living in cpt compared to jhb or pta.
Demand here is increasing daily for ladies due to the growth boom in cpt and the market here aint as overflowing with ladies as in jhb and pta so they can also push prices a bit due to that.
My simple advise would be stop complaining and start seeing the ones that fit your budget or adjust your budget to fit those you want to see.
No girl is going to be charging rates that no one wants to pay.. if she is holding on to her rates.. there is a market for her as simple as that and no complaining or bashing an entire province about the cost will change it.
