You completely missed the point. The *PUNTER* does not send that message the *WHATSAPP SERVICE DOES*. Here's how it goes:

Step 1: Punter puts your number in their phone.
Step 2: Punter tries to send you a whatsapp message saying "Hi I wanna book you".
Step 3: The WhatsApp service sees that your number is not currently using its service and sends you a link to download it as a means of enticing you onto the service.

So at no point did the punter assume you didn't know about whatsapp or send you links. From his perspective he just sent you a message. So he is not insulting your intelligence.

Just another FYI, you can edit posts to fix those typos. We get it already, you are having trouble adjusting to your new phone. If you tell me what model it is I can help you disable predictive text so you don't need to follow every post with a list of corrections and an explanation that you are not used to your phone.

Pontix you make a good point. If I'm comfortable with the phone call I'll give the whatsapp number and then a message as Fms outlined would definitely get a reply. Just don't send those idiotic one word messages 'Hi'.

My phones work slightly differently to yours oraljim. I go to whatsapp scroll through my numbers and if you're not on Whatsapp I'll click on the 'invite to whatsapp' block. So yes, the download whatsapp message would be initiated by the enquirer.

Thanks for that Nadia, I stand corrected! Still I don't think the thought process behind clicking that is "she doesn't know what whatsapp is" but is rather a request to connect on whatsapp.

I reply to WhatsApp to answer any queries but not a fan of chating to guys who say I want to be your friend or the ones who say I want to get to know you my reply is simple you get to know me when you here I'm not working for a chat site I'm an escorts guys that say can you sent a body pic so I can make sure it is you I saw on the Internet I say sent airtime I'll sent a picture if you want face pic I say if I wanted guys who have not yet met me to see my face I would of put it on the Internet so because I have not, it means you see my face once you in the room with me so I'm polite to answer but blunt enough to stop time waisters in there tracks

The other side of this coin is when one calls, the girl answers and says "sorry I'm busy", will message when I'm free, or sometimes we even agree on a tentative time, to be confirmed via message. Being an old fashioned gentleman, I will honour the arrangement and not contact any other lady. More often than not, the agreed time comes and goes, lady's phone is off and now it's too late to find an alternative. Come on ladies, you complain about punters wasting your time but seriously, rather just say no or even a message to say "sorry, can't make it". Happened to me twice this weekend from advertisers on this site and no, not because I had any weird requests.

I seem to get an equal number of bookings via whatsap as first communication or a telephone call as first communication. I do, however, cut any conversations short that clearly lead nowhere. Kisses, Mynx
