@delusionalNaledi of course looking at things through your lens one can easily become a victim and play SA's favourite card...the race card. As a person of mixed race I've lived most of my life in CT and having spent 5 years in Jbh, I could easily walk around mouthing off how I'm treated by whites, blacks, muslims, jews etc...question is, how does that serve me?

I always see it as their problem, no way is a narrow-minded view going to change my outlook on life. I live in the moment- cause that's all i have.

You see, you cannot have it all your way...despising whites but yet happy (or not) to go down on your knees and accepting their money, clinging to African culture but yearning for that Jimmy Choos and weave to match...

I'm no DA fan and nothing upsets me more than seeing the blatant disparity on display here in CT. How is my displeasure displayed? I try as far as possible to live a life of principle, to lead by example, I pay for a poor kid's university fees, I mentor youngsters on leadership principles, etc ..I guess I'm trying to uplift in my circle of influence in what is an extremely complex country..@Ben probably not your finest comment -'nuf said!

You are welcome to contact me should you need assistance with accomodation or such like.

Peace

Cape Town is extremely popular, EVERONE wants to live in the city bowl close to everything, and consequentially housing there is premium paid for as well as scarce. Anyone knows space is limited there, so that what IS there is popular! Look at the astonishingly costly developments built at/near the Waterfront, it is in fact amazing that they find tenants for such ludicrous prices!
Thus, anyone letting will be inundated with possible tenants, a staggering number of candidates will flood the opportunity, and obviously the veryvery best candidate is picked - which appears not to be Naledi.
Life's unfair doll, sorry you don't make the screening, blame it on the DA.

I would too if I were you! The ruling DA there is the obvious singlemost biggest difference between Gauteng and CT, visible to even the blind, so throw politics at your disgruntlement, always works.
Oh, call me funny but also me would not like to let to a WG or someone who might use the property for that purpose? Fit the shoe if the profile fits hun, but let's talk again when you own your own and start letting ;-)

I get to pay while naledi and her family gets a freebie...

You get to WHAT?????? And my family WHAT????? Fcuk you! No I mean it. My family gets fcuk all from whatever you pay!

I have a father who works! I went to the best school in Swaziland because my father WORKS to feed, clothe and school His 99 children. I got into this because answering phones didn't bring as much money, not because my father couldn't feed me. My mother never received a grant for us.

You're entitled to think I can't read. That's your opinion but never, never in a million years think that your tax is feeding my family. Even my opening legs money does not feed my family. I buy shoes with it

My family getting freebies? From YOU? Get over yourself and your precious 45% tax

@chmoks so these agents can tell from my voice that I'm a WG? And who said I'm going to work from that flat? Mind you the white guy who called is a junkie. He knows every Nigerian within a 15km radius. What will happen to that property when he's in debt and the dealers come to collect?

I never said the ANC was better nor am I blaming the DA for not getting a flat. I just dont feel comfortable with the idea of them being in charge

Oh and you would be getting a cut of the 45% of my tax money if your precious ANC was not spending it on themselves

Where on earth do you get these things you say????
My niece is 8 months old. I have 1 sibling in university. She doesnt have a bursary her mom and uncle got a bank loan and I paid the registration fee. She was amongst those students marching.

How does all this equate to my family getting freebies because you pay tax?

There's a difference between me supporting students who want what was promised to their parent and my family getting freebies.

If you want to come for me on this forum, by all means, call me delusional if you must but I repeat, my family is not getting anything from you.

1. Because my family immediate does not live in south Africa
2. Because my father takes care if His family NOT YOUR tax, I have aunts and uncles who work in South Africa as teachers and nurses. They pay tax too

You're right! Give me your number, I want to take you out for a drink you when I get a tender. Then you'll have a good reason to whine but until then I still say, your tax, my family... Polar ends!
