Dear Veronica, just because the main forum may be effective doesn't mean its the right place. Advertising tampons would be most effective outside a school because you have both lots of mommies and probably lots of girls getting their periods. Doesn't mean its the right place to do it.
Also I don't buy the "we pay for advertising" bit. You pay to have a searchable profile with pictures. THAT is your advert. Just as if you take out an advertisement in The Star it goes in the classifieds section - doesn't give you the right to advertise right on the front page. Just because you pay to advertise in one place doesn't mean you own the whole joint.
Finally, on the "bills to pay and mouths to feed" thing. So do punters. Yet when they try and bargain a girl down in price, or look for budget punts etc, they get slammed by pricier WG's and other punters alike. So why is it OK for you to do whatever you want because you have mouths to feed but not for the punters?

No system or solution required. The forum works just fine the way it is. Don't let punters dictate the way you run this website.
I listen to what my advertisers and punters ask and I don't let anyone dictate anything to me.
It is at the end of the day what is best for ESA that matters and that dear sir includes input and solutions or systems that can make a more efficiently run web site.

Just my two pennies' worth, again.
I really don't think that there currently is an issue here. The threads that constitute specials are, in just about all cases, identified as such by their titles. The ESA members who do not want to look at them can simply ignore those threads.
Also, will the creation of additional forums not eventually become impracticable and cumbersome? What if, for example, someone insists that other forums be created for other topics in future and that this forum exist solely for a limited number of topics? Do you not risk setting some kind of precedent by creating another forum? Is it also really possible to please everybody, all of the time?
Will this also not, perhaps, amount to censorship and an infringement of one of the rights of the paying advertiser? As Veronica Franco has said, this forum is, after all, the most utilised section of the ESA website and, therefore, affords the girl the maximum amount of exposure in this space.
I believe that the status quo should stand. The forum already has sufficient rules, the principle one being mutual respect.
