Balwin is a listed company. They have done various property developments in and around Jhburg. Some very nice developments at Waterfall estate and Pretoria are in progress.
All completed developments are well managed. I would say a good investment with annuity income for a cash investor.

No issue in asking for advice. But unless you know from whom it is coming, no point in acting on it... :-)

I have a simple firm belief in life about advice, listen to it and then make up your own mind and take the knocks on the chin if you wrong, then blame game is a waste of time

If I want property advice I don't go to a punters' forum.
If i want punting advice, I go to a punters' forum. :)

And advice given is easy to research and validate whether its worthwhile to look into or ignore! And then trust your gut!

Arz.

PS. Just check out the new laws regarding body corporates and managing a complex. A lot of people are going to be getting a huge increase in levies because of the new Sectional Title Act.

Hmmm - Over the years I've learnt that " Advise is as good as the fee you pay" .... Consequently free advise from a punters forum is with just that !!!!!

Arizona, complexes that are managed bad will be knocked hard by the new csos requirements

I had a quick look at the lagoon setup on Balwin's webpage... All i can say is sterkte who ever buys in there

The lagoon setup looks like a startrek cockpit full of pc's and hardware.

Dont get to happy about Balwin please. I know them for almost a decade and they are on the jse only recently

The more an estate have, the more complex it is.

I know friends who bought of plan, and so disappointed with the snags... It is an endless battle to fix

One thing i must say, news24 reported the big appartments is 1.7.... And on their site its 1399k

If you know balwin, go for it. Dont fall for all the free things! They have issues selling in jhb east where they give 50k of furniture vouchers with

personally i think the lagoon is nice, BUT AT WHAT PRICE?

I did some reading up about the beach resort in pta east soon

Firstly it is next to mamelodi. Lol, mmm

Secondly i asked for estimated levy prices, no answer yet

What i can say, mr brooks the ceo is coining it. His value is 199kk, and he owns 49% of balwin. All this info is on their site

Happy investigating if this is wirth getting
