I share Paige's sentiment. I too have bartered many times in the past. Nothing wrong with exchanging services for goods, holidays or whatever...
I have also had clients giving me gifts of large sums of money and/or items, without expecting nor accepting anything in return - some people get joy out of giving....

I do not agree with free services for ratings and reviews though, but to each his own as it is after all also a form of bartering.

Nothing wrong as both Paige and Sibyl have mentioned. I think this has more to do with reviews and ratings etc.

When he does it mini it's called being nice okay. When you or others do it, you're sucking up! There is apparently a hiarchy in which clients are categorised and double standards must be adhered to!

Agreed, however it is only a very small portion of clients who actually read reviews, so I'm not bothered about ladies doing self reviews and/or giving a guy a freebie for a favorable review/rating, as it does not have a direct impact on my own business. Additionally, the way I see it, if her reviews are false and she does not provide a good service, then sooner or later it will surface on her review page or on the general forum in any case.

I have no ratings on my profile (old profile's reviews and ratings has been deleted) and yet I do quite well, so imo reviews are overrated...lol...pun intended.

agreed with you dear,it doesn't bother me at all.My clients knows my rules,that put money on the table then you will get to be taken to heaven.top 10 thing it's just driving girls crazy for nothing,only if there was money to be won I would understand
