It's just lust and craving for something ells, married for many years and if you bored you open the site on your PC .You always want to see who is new and where ,are they close to you and so on ,but again I had many punts where I think to my self WTF! why pay and do what I do ,yet I know it's wrong and 3 -10 times the punt is kak and if you think about it you always want to stop! At the end off the day it's your own choice and your own doing what you do.Just think what you will do if your wife stars what you do .Try and think about that.If I was single I would even comment on this ,but it does work on your mind.. Thank you for all your inputs it definitely is enlightening and somehow the more answers that I read it's impossible to point at a thing or things that influence humans to cheat.

Some who cheat have it all at home yet still stray.

Others who have lost the spice in their relationship, find it as an outlet to fulfill the gaps in their life.

There is surely no one right or wrong answer, although I feel Esther Perel who is an expert on Relationships gives an answer that raises even more questions.

I have a different take on the cheating thing having commented on my incredibly dysfunctional / unusual marriage in the past.

Mrs Le Roux and I have at various times given up on each other, been inseparable, tolerated each other and acted like a couple of hormonal teenagers. She is quite simply nuts... But then so am I.

Our various visits and relationships with others have been an issue in the past but these days we just accept that we are both damaged goods and that if we have a break from each other now and then we both benefit. The "cheating" is actually helpful to us.

The glue that keeps us together is the oldest one in the books, communication. That and the realization that we are great together for the majority of the time.

Thought about it for while now....I dont know the answer to the question. Dont have a partner at this stage...so cannot really cheat. But I suppose it just happens automatically? Human beings are just a bit "fucked up"...or "messed up" that way? I donno...its a difficult question....ask another (easier) one.

I think you just answered the question, lol. We cheat because we're in a relationship. It's not cheating if you're single, it's just having sex with someone you want to.
