It changes from day to day
Lately I've been feeling
Monomyth by Animals as leaders the modulating time signatures just does it for me at the moment. (when Matt starts implying triplets over these meter changes it hurts my brain a little)
Gojira Born in winter is also a great track (those so called "ghost notes" filling the space in the drum groove is epic, gives me goosebumps every time and the tapping sequence of the guitars are just epic.
Gojira L Enfant Sauvage has an interesting story (also interesting use of of a traditional afro Cuban groove in a modern metal tune)
Then again I've also been feeling Paramore lately Hayley Williams has a gorgeous voice!!!
And I've also been digging Divide by Ed Sheeran (oldish album right now I know)
The track Dive has such pocket and groove.
There are a few tracks that have a really cool Irish Jig vibe.
I'm the odd one out here ain't I.... Lol
