There is a buzzzzzz in my spirit, a butterfly feeling in my tummy, a happiness that has me remembering all those songs sung over this festive season

What is the cause?

You know when you invest in your children and you reap the rewards much much later in your life?

It is not easy being a parent. There is no handbook to help one and I do believe all parents try their best.

Well, like one professor told me many many many moons ago ...our children are a longterm investment that pay dividends much later.

I have come to that point, having been a single parent for most of my children's lives, that THEY have taken on old traditions and customs and values shown and experienced and now are doing their bit.

Proudly I look in as they welcome family and their extended families and will be the hosts today and tomorrow.

And due to the fact that we celebrate both 25th and 7th January...I shall do our Orthodox traditional Christmas on the 7th Jan.

And thus, today, Tuesday I am only available half day and the rest of day is to go revel in the beauty of what my kiddies are.. grown upstanding individuals with a hard ass zany mother as their parent!


NOT available tomorrow 25th December
