This suspense is terrible. I hope it will last.

to continue the Wildean 'cerebration' :

Religions die when they are proved to be true.

If one tells the truth one is sure ,sooner or later , to be found out.

A truth ceases to be true when more than one person believes it.

Pleasure is the only thing one should live for .

On 3 April , 1895 one Oscar Fingall O’Flaherty Wilde brought an indictment against John Sholto Douglas, Marquis of Queensbury , for writing and publishing a false and defamatory libel alleging that he , the said Mr. Wilde indulged in indecent and lewd conduct with the defendant’s son Lord Alfred Douglas .

The charges brought by the Marquis against Mr. Wilde proved to be true .

Homosexuality was a crime in England at the time.

hehe good story Ben layden.

I remember a movie about Oliver wilde's life starring Stephen Fry, where Wilde is accused of homosexuality. The judge says 'Do you plead guilty to being a sodomist' and Wilde replies 'Actually it's Sodomite'....classic

A master of the pointed epigram, startling paradox, smothered with ingenious burlesque.
