Was thinking that each member attending bring along something to donate such as blankets, clothes, ect. It will then be distributed to a charity of ESA offices choice.
Pls advise with regards to any details. Thx

I think it would be easier if everyone had made their donations before the social, sent us Proof of payments, and receive the badge before the social.

We were thinking more in line of donations such as blankets, ect. on the day of the social.
The members can cleary mark their name on the items .. if they want to .. the members from ESA office attending can verify it during the social.
I know it is a little bit of logistics to be managed but achievable.

ESA representatives are unfortunately not attending the social to attend to admin and to check if donations are clearly marked.
We do our charitable donations in the manner of proof of payments to ensure that it is made easy on both sides.

I rather like the ESA's reccomendation of each punter wishing to contribute to do so and send ESA a proof of payment to obtain a badge.
In most cases a charity could do with cash contributions as they could use it as they feel fit and the donations go to what is really needed...
Donations of blankets etc.. might be welcomed but might not be the bear necessity, food or health care items might just be more desired ...

Have discussed the charity idea with the organisers .. the event will be a social event only but you can make any donations as ESA office recommended.
