Perhaps not quite the same as your gesture, but I always said that if I was ever to win a large amount in the lotto, I would keep a hefty portion aside for random payouts to people, be it for greeting me with a smile, offering assistance with something and also to some of the ladies on this site, just random gifts to make a difference in their lives & others.
Now to start playing the lotto again.
