JZ is doing the country a big favour. All his deeds splinters the ANC and weakens the core. The best that will come out of this is no more majority rule. It will be painfull and many will suffer but we will have a fairer playing field. Too much power corrupts even the angels. I don't care who runs the goverment, but do it to serve the country first. We too hung up on black and white. Mandela's vision was for a united country for all. When he was no more the vision became blurred. How else do we all become proud citizens when we hung up about racial issues.

Sir, you are beyond the pale!

Have you heard of the West's murderous campaigns in Iraq, Palestine, Vietnam, Cambodia, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Egypt, Argentina, Guatemala etc

A blot on their conscience forever!

@Ben Layden, please don't misunderstand me... I am talking about the development money only... I have not, nor will I ever claim the west is super duper squeaky clean in their dealings as that would be patently false.

God help us all! If something doesn't change by the next election we are all doomed. Don't get me wrong. It was good apartheid ended but how stupid can some people be. My Dad once said something and I totally agree with him. Change what is wrong and not what is right. Why are people never happy with what they have? Why do they always want more? Our government and many others are to greedy. We can live comfortably and still be able to give back to the people who need it and will be grateful for it. There are so many things that actually need to be fixed. Our education, our environment, our roads, Our economy, our employment and many more. Our rand value determine's many things such as petrol, paraffin, diesel and import and export prices. How does it not affect us? How stupid do they think we all are?

Public opinion - Walter Lipmann 1921
Principle of -"manufacture of consent-a revolution in the practise of democracy amounting to a technique of control, useful and necessary because the common interest, the general concerns of all people elude the public."

Democracy?...understanding the mechanisations of control and crowd propaganda?

Also think Tokyo, think Cyril, these people are obscenely rich.

Not because they invented something marvelous like a car, a flying machine or even a bicycle or a sewing machine.

No!

They are politically connected.

Quite elementary my dear Watson.
It ain't sustainable in the long term.

[Edit.]
I will not begrudge Mr Mandela all the riches in the world.
He deserved more than he had.

Professor Ben

Regarding Madiba, I so second that. Nevertheless, sadly, my heart bleeds for South Africa. How much more damage must still be done?
