Life is very tough and we get accustomed to a certain income.
It has been said - cut expenses to the bone. Not easy but possible.
Find extra income streams/jobs
Learn new skills that will create new opportunities.
My late dad used to say do not let the bird in your hand (current income) fly hoping to catch another that sits in a tree. If you get a better job and have it quit...if not get what you can from the existing one and prepare for a better one.
