What has size and looks got to do with side chicks!!!!! I mean side chicks are there for the money, isn't it. So chill burfi....if we all were Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, we probably wouldn't be in the punting game. And burfi as I know(the Indian sweetmeat) is sweet, so I guess that compensates where you think you are lacking.
Addiction is an addiction, and we need to let it go, sooner than later. Recreation is something else. So we should treat punting as an extreme sport, to be indulged in occassionally, not as a daily exercise.

Just to add to my point, I have spent about 2 hours today on my phone on esa trying to get an appointment... None of my regulars are available and those that look interesting are too far away!!

To me, it's simply a case of finding another addiction. One that will take you away from your current circumstances and where you can find that thrill again. You seem like and intelligent man with the resources so it should not be too difficult to find. There must be something out there that will give you similar satisfaction.
